My career began in hospitality, where I developed communication, leadership, and customer service skills while working with people from many backgrounds. That experience still shapes how I collaborate and lead teams.
My passion for creating led me into product design. Working with models, prototypes, and CNC machines taught me to balance creativity with manufacturing and technical details. Over time, I progressed into design leadership, managing projects and working across departments to bring products from concept to production.
I’m continuing to strengthen my engineering fundamentals through coursework and hands-on robotics. My goal is to combine that knowledge with years of product design and manufacturing experience as I move forward in product and mechanical design.

Design Manager / Design Engineer
Gardena, CA
Translate customer requirements into SolidWorks parts and assemblies for retail fixtures and displays, balancing function, materials, and manufacturing constraints.
Develop sheet metal, wire, and tubular steel components; refine supports, connections, and fasteners for assembly.
Evaluate design revisions for load support, fit, and manufacturability; refine shelf reinforcement and frame configurations.
Manage the design department, coordinating projects and collaborating with another designer, management, and manufacturing partners.

Design Engineer
Santa Fe Springs, CA
Served as sole SolidWorks designer and CNC router machinist; helped hire and train an additional machinist.
Translated customer requirements into 3D models and prototypes; worked with fabricators to test designs and develop production processes.
Programmed, operated, and maintained CNC routers with VCarve Pro for wood and plastic components.
Programmed and operated a CNC fiber laser with CypCut to manufacture metal components.
